For studio owners, what does it take to rent the show?
You provide the dancers, and we provide an amazing show complete with sets, costumes, music, and choreography notes. We can even provide performers to assist if needed. For more information on producing the show, please email secretriverballetcompany@gmail.com
What else do I have to buy?
Dancers must have numde undergarments to wear under the costumes, and possibly tan tights with tan jazz/lyrical shoes. If they are wearing pointe shoes, pink tights are required. Some parts require black socks and dance shoes, but you will know well in advance the basic essentials you need.

Is there an audition?
Typically, there is a placement audition, but at this time, everyone should receive a part.
Do I have to be in regular dance classes at a dance school to be in the show?
You should be in regular dance classes if you are in the show. It depends on the school, but a school may accept dancers from another studio to be a part of the performance.
When are rehearsals?
Rehearsals for solos typically begin in the summer with full company rehearsals starting in September. The Secret River is best performed in the Fall (October-November time frame).
